We would like to welcome you to our Bantam Family! It is our primary goal at Bates Middle School to offer our students an education in a positive and safe environment that meets both their academic and social needs. We want to provide our students with an education that will enable them to be productive, competent and life-long learners who will be able to compete in a global society. One of the best ways to foster a relationship with your child’s teacher is to schedule a conference via phone call or in person. In an effort to improve home and school communication, we are also available through email. Collaboratively, we can help your child have a successful middle school experience.

How to register? Visit the BMS Guidance Department with valid picture ID from 7:30am to 3:30pm on school days to obtain your child's access code. Then go to the Parent Portal link under Parent Corner on the BMS home page to set up your account.
Registered Last Year? If you have a username and password from last year, you can still use that login. If you have trouble, please call 775-0711. Ask for Beverly Sowell, Erica Lyles or Marcenia McDuffie for assistance.
Have more than one child in the district? You can use a single login, but you will need a separate access code for each child.
